Reservations
All reservations require a 50% deposit that is held until 9:00 p.m. of the arrival date. Reservations paid entirely, will be respected until the next day at the check out time.
Cancellations:
This what proceeds in the case of cancellation.
- 10 days prior arrival a 25% charge of the deposit.
- 5 days prior arrival a 50% charge of the deposit.
- 4 days to 0 hours prior arrival a 100% charge of the deposit.
Payments
All mayor credit cards are accepted including American Express.
Banquet and Special Events policies
The definitive number of people that will attend the event must be informed to the hotel with a minimum of 48 hrs. in advance (72 hrs. if meals will be served) this attendance number will be considered definitive with the understanding that there will be no concessions or credit for any diminishment of the number of silverware requested.
Any consumption or raise on the guarantee that was requested will be paid by “the client” at the start of the event; in case of a diminished guarantee “the hotel” reserves the right to change the Facilities or the price of the previously stipulated guarantee.
“The hotel” will always be prepared to serve an additional 10% of the expected attendance, 5% when the event’s contract is for up to 200 people, and in case the attendance exceeds 10% or 5% depending on the event, the hotel reserves the right to make changes on the menu or serve different meals than the ones that were requested.
In case of a graduation, this concession does not proceed.
The client accepts that the hotel will not be held responsible if by government dispositions, labor problems or circumstances beyond its control, can not fulfill the contract.
For a Dinning Ball event, it’s a requirement to transact a license where the hotel will be responsible of all taxes charged to the client (specified in the contract)
The use of a synthesizer box is strictly prohibited, unless they are the company’s property in which case there will be a contract for it.
By signing this contract, the client will be held responsible for any damage caused by the guests, to the hotel’s decoration, furniture or equipment.
The payment conditions for the hotel are:
For lunch, dinner or graduations an initial deposit will be required to guarantee the event, with a 30 day notice it’s a 50% deposit and with a 48 hr. notice a full payment is necessary, for any other event you will need to pay 50% in advance and the rest right before the start of the event.
In case of a cancellation the client is committed to pay the following as a penalty:
The event must be cancelled by the client with a written notice and at least 30 days before the event in case of a dinner, ball or any other event that exceeds more than 100 people, and at least 10 days in case of any other type of event for less than a 100 people, if the notice is done in the stated terms “the hotel” is obliged to refund the deposit in full, if not “the client” agrees that the 50% deposit given for the cost of the event according to the previous terms will be kept by “the hotel” and any petition for a refund or complaint of any kind will not proceed.
Oversold Policy:
In case the Hotel is oversold and cannot offer you the contracted service, to the client with a reservation from UNIVISIT, the Hotel by its own count will find adequate alternatives to supply the service contracted, that will meet or give better service than the original benefits contracted.
